Why

Best protection for your coffee

The key to packaging coffee is maintaining quality, aromas and a long shelf life. Coffee beans can still release gas for some time after roasting, via an aroma degassing valve a pouch is extremely suitable to let these gases escape without the coffee beans or packaging losing their quality. The metallized barrier layer is a must as far as we are concerned for your coffee. It provides excellent protection and extends the shelf life of coffee with the best protection against light, oxygen and moisture.

Experience starts with the packaging

Beautiful packaging, sell more coffee! If you drink coffee every day, like most of us, you know that coffee packaging comes in all shapes, sizes and colors.
Apart from all the beautiful coffee styles, flavors and price ranges, drinking coffee is all about the experience and that starts with the packaging.

The best choice for the environment and nature

A sustainable coffee packaging with the ultimate protection by means of a pouch. Logistics and long distances cause products to generate high CO2 emissions. With a pouch as packaging this can be minimized. Compared to other types of packaging, pouches are the best option because, you use sustainable materials, the most lightweight packaging possible, in terms of quantities more fit in a box, which saves a lot of space and CO2.

Each package has a unique design

It is even possible that literally every individual packaging has a unique design through special software technology. Of course, you can order it from us in small quantities starting from 500 pieces. The look of your packaging can be with metallic, matte or glossy effects.

Aroma valve

The biggest challenge with roasted coffee is oxygen, oxygen that robs the coffee of its aroma. Since roasted coffee releases carbon dioxide, a one-way valve is added to the packaging. It lets carbon dioxide out of the bag, but prevents oxygen from entering. This helps preserve the aroma and flavor of the coffee. A nice advantage is that you can smell the coffee by tapping the aroma valve bag.

Easy to reseal

Another way to protect coffee in packaging from the environment is with reusable zip ties. They help keep the product fresh and prevent accidental spills.

FAQ

UV protection and a high aroma barrier are important for your Coffee brand. Do you think sustainability is as important as we do? Then we recommend using a recyclable pouch made of kraft paper with protected metallized inner layer, or a pouch made of recyclable mono plastics and metallized inner layer for long-term preservation of your coffee.

Contact with oxygen causes coffee to lose its aroma. Moreover, aromatic oils in coffee can change when they come into contact with oxygen. With our resealable pouches, your customers can easily seal the coffee container airtight after opening.

Coffee beans continue to release gas for quite some time after the process of roasting. It is therefore important that the coffee packaging has an aroma valve that allows excess gas to escape without damaging the quality or the packaging. This keeps your coffee and its aroma fresh at all times.

In the packaging industry, contrary to what you might think, lead times of 10 weeks are not unusual. The Pouchfactory offers the best lead times for all of our orders. Our lead time for custom pouch packaging production is 3 to 4 weeks. Rush deliveries are also a possibility, please contact us for that.

Adding a clear window is a cool idea for displaying your coffee beans, but it could cause the contents to be exposed to light. Exposure to light is the biggest culprit when it comes to compromising the quality of your coffee so we don’t recommend it.

The coffee pouches we make are always customized and based on your designs entirely to your own taste and to suit your desired needs. During the ordering process you upload your own design and we will make sure that you are quickly provided with new cool coffee pouches.

At the Pouchfactory, you can order from as little as 1,000 pieces per design. If you have more than 4 different packaging designs, it is even possible to order from 500 pieces per design. For orders with a circulation of 500 pieces you have to use the same material construction. Of course, the pouches are always printed on the highest quality technology and at a guaranteed low price.

Compostable and biodegradable materials have become very popular, but they do not have the same quality as traditional materials. Traditional materials offer the best barrier against moisture, dust, ultraviolet radiation and other environmental factors that can affect the quality of your coffee.

Partly for these reasons, compostable and Bio Based pouches are not yet suitable for the coffee industry.
