DressagePro’s supplements were already packaged in pouches. For a new stock they were looking for a new partner. Christy-Anne explains, “We wanted to cooperate with a company based in the Netherlands. Our previous collaboration with a foreign company involved a language barrier, which cost a lot of time and energy. This hampered quick switching and caused longer delivery times.” The company set out to investigate, coming across several companies. “The Pouch Factory gave us a good feeling,” says Christy-Anne. Why, “Their focus on sustainability was a big plus. This fits perfectly with our natural supplements. In addition, the consultation went very nicely: there was an informal, open atmosphere. You could tell from everything that they fully stand behind their product, which gave us immediate confidence.”
Easy choice with the sample box
To find out which pouch would suit DressagePro best, we offered them a sample box. Christy-Anne explains, “For us it was essential that the pouch was made of environmentally friendly material. Since we sell natural products ourselves, we wanted the packaging to match that. The sample box contained several pouches, varying in the degree of recyclability. We immediately noticed that these stand-up pouches were much sturdier than our current packaging, and the colors also came out better. In terms of size, we were quick to decide: we wanted to keep the same dimensions as our current packaging.” It was important to DressagePro that the material provided sufficient protection for the supplements. Christy-Anne explains: “Horse stables are often damp; the supplements must be well protected against mold. In addition, it is useful if the stand-up bag can withstand a bump. Fortunately, we found clear information about the material on the back of the pouch, which made it easier for us to make an informed choice.”
