Sustainable tea packaging with optimal protection thanks to a pouch.
Logistics and long transport distances cause products to generate high CO₂ emissions. Using a pouch as packaging keeps these emissions to a minimum. Compared to other types of packaging, pouches are the best option, as they are made from sustainable materials such as kraft paper from organic raw materials or 100% recyclable mono-plastics. It is currently the lightest packaging available. A box holds more pouches, saving a lot of space and CO₂ on the shelf and in logistics.

Every package has a unique design

Thanks to special software, it is even possible to create a unique design for every package. Of course, you can also order small quantities from us, starting at 500 pieces. The surface of your packaging can be metallised, matte or glossy.

Aroma valve

With an aroma valve, you can smell your tea as soon as you press the valve. It’s ideal for convincing consumers of the product’s quality straight away through its scent, without them even having to open the packaging.

Advice

UV radiation and high aroma barrier are important for your tea brand. Do you think sustainability is as important as we do? Then we recommend using a recyclable pouch made of kraft paper with protected plastic or metallized inner layer or a pouch made of recyclable mono plastics and metallized inner layer for long-term preservation of your tea herbs.

Most of the packaging at the Pouch Factory offer the ability to add options such as a Eurohole, resealable zipper, aroma valve.
Except for compostable pouches, some of the above options are not possible due to the sorting and recycling process.

In the packaging industry, contrary to what you might think, lead times of 10 weeks are not unusual. The Pouch Factory offers the best lead times for all of our orders. Our lead time for custom pouch packaging production is 3 to 4 weeks. Rush deliveries are also a possibility, please contact us for that.

Yes! Compostable and biodegradable materials have become very popular, and are among the options for tea products. As are fully recyclable paper pouches with a special bio-based plastics coating.

At the Pouch Factory, you can order from as little as 1,000 pieces per design. If you have more than 4 different packaging designs, it is even possible to order from 500 pieces per design. For orders with a circulation of 500 pieces you have to use the same material construction. Of course, the pouches are always printed on the highest quality technology and at a guaranteed low price.

The pouches come open at the top so you can fill them automatically or manually. To seal the pouches you need a device that can seal automatically or manually at 160°C/180°C.
