Striving for optimal health with pure supplements. That’s what the start-up Motion Supplements is committed to in a nutshell! “Enjoying life to the fullest starts with good health. That’s where supplements can help,” says Daan Eerland of the Operations Department. And one of the foundations of successful supplement sales is … an attractive pouch!
Motion Supplements began its sales in 2023 with the “Ultimate Amino” supplements. “This supplement is high in amino acids and is ideal for the (strength) athlete to use during a workout,” says Daan. To introduce athletes to this supplement, we needed sleek packaging. The choice for the type of packaging was quickly made. “When selling supplements, a pouch is often chosen,” says Daan. “This looks a lot tighter than a jar. Which party could help us with a nice pouch?”
Motion Supplements discovered the Pouch Factory through Google. “The design of the website immediately appealed to us. It had a clean and personal look, exactly what we also find important in a cooperation. This gave us confidence,” says Daan. “We also appreciated their commitment to a better environment. They even sell organic pouches! Since we stand for pure supplements, we had a common vision.” Motion Supplements requested a consultation, after which a first meeting was soon established. Daan: “Of course it was crucial that the packaging would appeal to our target group, but what was really important to us? Effective communication. You often see that dozens of e-mails are needed before a final product is created. That’s inefficient. We were looking for a pleasant partner who could communicate efficiently.”
We understand this request from Motion Supplements very well at the Pouch Factory. We, too, value fast and flexible communication. That starts with clear expectations from both parties. Daan notes, “From the beginning, the Pouch Factory was very transparent and honest. Communicating via email? We could just send our contact person an app. That was already a good start.” To arrive at a beautiful pouch, you can have the Pouch Factory designit for you. However, it is also possible to work with an external designer. In that case, we at the Pouchfabriek are happy to act as a sparring partner. “Based on our branding, the external designer created a design. The Pouchfabriek gave a lot of valuable feedback, so that the design on the pouch would be shown to its best advantage. They were constantly thinking along with us.”
The collaboration went smoothly, which is why it didn’t just stop at Motion Supplements‘ “Ultimate Amino” collection . Daan: “We also asked the Pouch Factory to make pouches for our ‘Whey‘ collection, supplements with which you get extra protein. But also the packaging of our Creatine Monohydrate supplements came about thanks to Pouchfabriek.” Whether, in retrospect, the collaboration matched expectations? “One hundred percent!” says Daan enthusiastically. “The Pouch Factory always responded quickly. We didn’t have to wait a month, so to speak, before they responded. As a result, we always knew where we stood. They really excel at communication.” In the future, we’ll continue to email back and forth with Motion Supplements. Daan: “We are very satisfied with the cooperation with the Pouch Factory. Since we still want to market many supplements, our cooperation will only intensify. I am already looking forward to future packaging!”
