Jeroen and Stephan quickly came to the Pouch Factory for their pouch. “The website had a fresh and young look, which appealed to us,” Jeroen says. “We also saw that they were flexible in supplying the number of pouches. We could start small and then easily scale up.” The entrepreneurs also looked at websites of other suppliers. “With several Chinese companies you can get cheaper,” Stephan noted. “However, with these parties we did not know who we would be in contact with. Since we are completely new to the world of product packaging, we didn’t like that. Also, the quality was unclear. For launching a first product, that’s not nice.”
Sustainable material
Jeroen and Stephan themselves already had an environmentally friendly type of packaging in mind. “However, the Pouch Factory advised us a different type of sustainable material,” Jeroen explains. Since the FestyBites® pouch would contain fats and animal products, it makes sense to use the material polyethylene on the inside. This allows FestyBites® to ensure the quality of their supplements. “The Pouch Factory was very clear in their communication,” Stephan says. “Since we had no experience with product packaging, it was nice that they thought along a lot. They also understood our urgency to get the supplements to market as quickly as possible.”
Solution-oriented partner
A fine and intensive cooperation developed. “Whenever there were problems, the Pouch Factory gave us practical solutions. That was very nice,” Stephan says. “Even when small adjustments had to be made to the design, they picked this up quickly.” The first sample of the pouch quickly came their way. “I saw tiny damages in the color,” Jeroen explains. “Other than that, the pouch was perfect, which is why I almost felt embarrassed to contact them about something so minor. The Pouch Factory solved this problem immediately.”
