DressagePro was already using pouches for their supplements. For a new stock, they were looking for a new partner. Christy-Anne explains: “We wanted to work with a company based in the Netherlands. Our previous collaboration with a foreign company came with a language barrier, which cost us a lot of time and energy. This made it difficult to act quickly and resulted in longer lead times.” They explored various companies and eventually came across the Pouchfabriek. “The Pouchfabriek gave us a good feeling,” Christy-Anne shares. Why? “Their focus on sustainability was a major plus. It aligns perfectly with our natural supplements. Additionally, the consultation was very pleasant: there was an informal, open atmosphere. You could tell they truly stand behind their product, which immediately gave us confidence.”
Easy selection with the sample box
To find out which pouch would best suit DressagePro, we offered them a sample box. Christy-Anne explains: “For us, it was essential that the pouch was made from eco-friendly materials. Since we sell natural products, we want the packaging to align with that. The sample box included various pouches, each differing in recyclability. We noticed right away that these stand-up pouches were much sturdier than our current packaging, and the colors also looked more vibrant. In terms of size, we quickly decided to keep the same dimensions as our current packaging.” For DressagePro, it was important that the material provided adequate protection for the supplements. Christy-Anne elaborates: “Horse stables are often humid, so the supplements need to be well-protected against mold. Additionally, it’s helpful if the pouch can withstand some rough handling. Fortunately, we found clear information about the material on the back of the pouch, making it easier for us to make an informed choice.”
