Pouches have a clear advantage: they offer a lower CO₂ footprint than many other packaging types and can be made from a single material, making them easier to recycle.” He continues: “With the new PPWR legislation, sustainable packaging will soon be mandatory. But beyond regulation, the market is already moving fast. Mars China, for example, launched a Snickers bar in a flexible mono-material pouch at the end of 2023 –and many brands are following with reusable, compostable, or recyclable solutions. Those who take sustainability seriously stay ahead of the curve.”

In terms of design you can devise anything you like, but do take into account that printing is done in CMYK. Therefore, you should convert any spot colours and linked images to CMYK. Would you like a viewing window in your pouch, then see to a correct white formation. Trapping is not required. Contour all text to prevent font conflicts.
